Projects shared with you

Open the invite link someone sent you and click Accept. After that, the project is under Shared with me on the projects page, ready to open from any device you sign in on.
Accept an invite
- Step 1: Open the link
Click the link in the email or message. If you are not signed in, FloorGen asks you to sign in or create a free account first.
- Step 2: Check the card
A card titled You’re invited to a project says who invited you, to which project, and whether you can edit or view.
- Step 3: Click Accept
Click Accept. FloorGen downloads the project and opens it. Click Not now to decide later.
An invite sent by email to your address also waits under Shared with me, with Accept and Decline, once your account has confirmed that address.
Find and open shared projects
- Click Shared with me in the sidebar of the projects page. Each row shows the owner, your role and when it last changed. Click a row to open it.
- In your other project lists, a shared project carries a
Shared bybadge with the owner’s name. - Changes the owner and other editors make reach your copy when you open it, and live while it is open.
When an invite will not open

Leave a project
- Step 4: Open the Share dialog
Open the project and click Share. As an editor or viewer you see who has access, and the line Only the owner can invite people or change what they can do.
- Step 5: Leave
Click Leave project and confirm. You lose access, and your copy stays in All projects as your own. The owner can invite you again.
Questions
What happens if the owner removes me or deletes the project?
It leaves Shared with me, and a notice says why. Your local copy becomes your own project and syncs to your account like any other.
Can I use FloorGen AI on a shared project?
Not yet. FloorGen AI works on your own projects only. On a shared one it says “FloorGen AI isn’t available on shared projects yet”.
Do agents connected over MCP see shared projects?
No. API keys and connected apps reach only the projects you own.
