Undo, review and rerun

Every change FloorGen AI makes is a step in the reply with its own Undo, and Undo all takes back the whole reply. The steps are also on the editor’s undo list, so ⌘Z works too.
Undo what FloorGen AI did
- Step 1: Find the steps
Under each reply, a header such as 2 changes · 1 check lists what it did. Click a step’s name to see it on the plan.
- Step 2: Undo one step
Click Undo on the step. It turns into Redo if you change your mind.
- Step 3: Or undo the whole reply
Click Undo all in the header, type
/undo, or click the Undo that chip under the reply.
If a later change touched the same things, a step says it can’t be undone on its own. If Undo all runs into such a clash, Restore the plan from before this turn puts the plan back as it was before the reply.
Read the step list
| State | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Working | The step is running. |
| Done | The step finished. |
| Failed | The step did not work. |
| Undone | You undid the step, here or with ⌘Z. |
| Waiting for your confirmation | The step waits on a Confirm this change card. |
| Cancelled, nothing changed | You clicked Cancel on the card. |
| Unknown | The connection dropped while the step ran. FloorGen checks with the server and updates it. |
Steps that only read the plan fold into one row, Looked at 5 things. Technical details under the steps shows each change’s id and how long it took, and the reply ends with a time such as Done in 12 s.
Stop, edit or regenerate
- Stop ends a reply while it runs. Changes made so far stay and can be undone. The reply then reads You stopped this reply.
- If a reply breaks off, for example when the connection drops, it reads This reply was interrupted. with how many changes were kept, such as 2 changes were kept and can be undone. If the server ended the reply itself, for example after a restart, the reply’s own text says what happened instead. It may add a note on what was built and what is left. On the last reply, click Continue to carry on.
- Edit on your last message changes it; Send edit runs it again.
- Regenerate on the last reply undoes its changes and asks again.
- Copy copies a reply’s text.
Review changes before keeping them
Turn on Review AI changes with the checklist button in the panel header. Edits still appear on the plan as they run, but each gets Keep and Undo until you choose, and the header offers Keep all and Undo all. It stays on for later replies until you turn it off.
Compare before and after
Click Compare in the step header to see the plan before and after the reply. Slider puts them side by side with a divider to drag; Overlay shows what was removed in red and what was added in green. Press Esc to close it. After the reply, Show on the plan under its small drawing selects everything it changed.
Compare shows for a reply that changed the plan in this tab. Edits made after the reply don’t hide it. If FloorGen can’t rebuild the plan from before the reply, a message says Compare isn’t available: the plan changed since this reply.
While the panel is closed
If you close the panel while a reply edits the plan, a banner reads FloorGen AI is editing with Stop. It sits at the top centre of the plan, or at the bottom left on a phone. Click the words to open the panel again, or Stop to end the reply. If the connection drops, the banner says it is reconnecting and which try it is on.
Rate a reply
Signed in, each finished reply with text has a thumbs up (Good reply) and thumbs down (Poor reply). A reply still waiting on your answer has none. Click one to rate the reply, and click it again to take the rating back. The rating is kept with the message. Guests don’t see the thumbs.
Questions
What if I already pressed ⌘Z?
The chat marks that step “Undone with the editor’s Undo”, and Regenerate skips it.
Someone else changed the plan while FloorGen AI worked. What now?
It stops so it does not overwrite them and shows what changed meanwhile. Click Re-run on current plan to try again, or Undo my step.
Can I get the plan back from before a reply?
Yes. Before its first edit in a reply, FloorGen AI saves a checkpoint, shown as a “Saved checkpoint” row. Undo all takes the reply back, and if that clashes with later edits, Restore the plan from before this turn puts the plan back as it was before the reply.
