What works without an account
Updated 3 min readNeeds a free account
Without an account you can draw, furnish, view in 3D and run checks, and your projects save in this browser. Exports, sync, sharing, FloorGen AI and agents need a free account.

When you try something that needs an account, FloorGen shows a short card, for example Sign in to export, with Create free account and Sign in. If the site lets guests use some exports, the Export dialog opens instead, and each tab a guest can’t use shows a lock.
Where guest projects are kept
- Guest projects are Saved in this browser only. Another browser or device does not see them.
- Clearing this browser’s site data removes them. Use Back up all projects on the projects page to keep a copy.
- An admin can cap how many projects a guest keeps. At the cap, FloorGen asks you to sign in before making another.
- FloorGen may keep a copy of each guest project on its servers, without traced images, to learn how FloorGen is used. It is not a backup: you can’t open it on another device, and it can’t bring back a project cleared from this browser. See the Privacy Policy.
Sign in and keep your work
Signing in is free. The projects you made as a guest move into your account and start syncing. See Sign in and sync.
Questions
Will I lose my guest projects when I sign in?
No. They move into your account.
Why can’t I export as a guest?
Exports need a free account by default. Sign in free; your guest projects come with you.
Can a guest open a project someone shared?
No. Opening an invite asks you to sign in or create a free account first.
